ZEN CAMPFIRE

Terms of Service

Effective September 14, 2026

These Terms govern your use of zencampfire.com, Zen Campfire email, contact and questionnaire forms, memberships, mailed materials, and related services. By using the site or purchasing a membership, you agree to these Terms.

What Zen Campfire provides

Zen Campfire offers practical Zen teachings, written materials, newsletters, responses to member questions, and related educational content. Membership may include a personal letter, a Campfire teaching, a gatha, and other materials described on the enrollment page.

Educational and spiritual information

Zen Campfire offers educational and spiritual perspectives. It does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other licensed professional services. Nothing on the site or in a response creates a doctor-patient, therapist-client, attorney-client, financial-adviser, or similar professional relationship. For an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service rather than Zen Campfire.

Membership, billing, and renewal

The standard membership price is $49 per month unless a different price or promotion is clearly shown at checkout. A promotion may reduce the first payment without changing the amount of later monthly renewals. Stripe processes recurring payments using the payment method supplied at checkout.

Before purchasing, the checkout page should show the amount due, renewal price, billing frequency, and any promotional terms. By completing checkout, you authorize recurring monthly charges until cancellation.

Cancellation

You may cancel at any time by using the Contact page or emailing support@zencampfire.com. Include the email address used at checkout so we can locate the subscription. We will promptly confirm the request and stop future renewal charges.

Cancel before the next billing date to avoid the next charge. Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, fees already paid are not prorated or refunded for a partially used billing period. Cancellation does not require you to provide a reason or accept another offer.

Mailing and delivery

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate mailing address and notifying us of changes. Mailing schedules and delivery estimates are not guarantees; postal delays and events outside our reasonable control may affect delivery. Contact us if an expected mailing does not arrive so we can review the circumstances and work toward a reasonable resolution.

Your submissions

You retain ownership of original material you submit. When you voluntarily submit a question, experience, or other material, you give Zen Campfire a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, review, edit, anonymize, condense, combine, reproduce, and use that material in Zen Campfire teachings and related print, digital, book, audio, or video formats.

We will not intentionally publish your name, contact information, account information, or identifying details without separate permission. You represent that you have the right to submit the material and that it does not unlawfully violate another person’s rights.

Respectful and lawful use

You may not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, submit unlawful or malicious material, impersonate another person, or use Zen Campfire content in a way that infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights.

Zen Campfire content

Unless otherwise stated, Zen Campfire owns or licenses the site design, teachings, written materials, images, recordings, and other content it provides. Your membership gives you a personal, nontransferable right to use those materials for private, noncommercial purposes. It does not transfer ownership or permit republication, resale, or distribution without written permission.

Availability and changes

We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the site or service. If a material change prevents us from delivering a paid membership benefit, we will address affected payments fairly and as required by law.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Zen Campfire is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the site or services. Our total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid to Zen Campfire during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not resolved informally will be handled by a court with lawful jurisdiction in Kansas, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes affecting an active paid membership will be communicated when reasonably appropriate. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
